She fell in love with sport from an early age. Until 2014 she practised artistic gymnastics, then moved on to pole vault with Atletica Bergamo 59 and, finally—thanks to a suggestion from former teammate Elena Scarpellini—skeleton, with the national team choosing to invest in her as part of a project aimed at the Milano Cortina Games. Partner of Mattia Gaspari, a pillar of the men’s team alongside Amedeo Bagnis, and cousin of Roberto Piccoli, Fiorentina’s centre-forward, her private life also includes a degree in Communication Design from Politecnico di Milano. In November 2025 she made her mark in the season-opening World Cup round on the Olympic track, finishing ninth in the individual (a career-best) and seventh in the mixed team alongside “her” Gaspari. Her résumé also includes an eighth place at the 2023 European Championships in Altenberg.
