Born in Trentino, he discovered skiing at an early age and initially competed in alpine skiing before being attracted by the adrenaline and head-to-head nature of ski cross. The switch proved decisive. Over the years, he has grown into one of the most consistent athletes on the World Cup circuit, combining technical solidity with race intelligence and an instinctive ability to read the course.
His breakthrough came at the 2023 World Championships in Bakuriani, where he claimed a historic gold medal, becoming the first Italian ever to win a world title in ski cross. In the same season, he also collected his first World Cup victories, confirming himself among the absolute elite of the discipline. Calm and analytical off the snow, he is known for his meticulous preparation and attention to detail. At Milano Cortina 2026, on home snow, he will be one of Italy’s leading medal hopes.
