Biography

Raised at the foot of Mount Presolana and son of Battista Tomasoni—first a high-level athlete and later a national instructor—he learned from an early age to love alpine skiing before becoming a ski cross ace, driven by adventure and adrenaline both on and off the slopes.

A world bronze medallist in the mixed team event alongside Jole Galli in February 2023, just over two months earlier he had also secured the best World Cup result of his career, finishing fifth on the Swiss snow of Arosa.

A skilled video editor and passionate mountain biker and alpinist, extreme nature represents his place of the heart, where he organises his thoughts and reconnects with his deepest emotions in order to keep looking ahead. On 29 October 2024, following a tragic crash during training in Val Senales, his partner Matilde Lorenzi—one of the brightest young prospects in women’s alpine skiing—lost her life. He is heading to the Milano Cortina Games not only to fulfil his own Olympic dream.
