Born idolising Norwegian champion Aksel Lund Svindal, after a lifetime spent on alpine ski slopes he decided in 2019 to specialise in ski cross, a discipline he particularly loves for the adrenaline it delivers and the inevitable shoulder-to-shoulder battles with rivals.
Within a few years, he became a permanent member of the Italian World Cup team. His best result came in December 2022 when, at the French stop in Val Thorens, he qualified for the big final and finished fourth. He can also boast three World Championship appearances, breaking into the top 30 on two occasions (Bakuriani 2023 and Engadin 2025).
Away from competition, his hobbies include fishing, cycling and trekking, through which he fully reconnects with the natural wonders of his native South Tyrol. His sport is one that continues to grow, and he is eager to be part of that evolution through the Olympic showcase of Milano Cortina.
