Biography

He began skating at eight, specialising in singles and winning the Italian junior title in 2010. From the following season he switched to pairs with Alessandra Cernuschi, competing at two European Championships (best result: 10th in 2015). They also became the first Italians to reach the podium on the Junior Grand Prix circuit (third in Košice 2013).

In 2016, following his partner’s retirement, he changed partners—first Alexandra Iovanna, then Rebecca Ghilardi. With her, he secured European podiums in two consecutive editions (silver in Espoo 2023 and bronze in Kaunas 2024) and won their first ISU Grand Prix event in Espoo in November 2022. After finishing 14th at the Beijing Games, he arrives in Milano Cortina with nothing to lose and a huge desire to continue his rise.
