Biography

He forms a pair in life as well as on the ice with Charlène Guignard. Fate intervened via a website connecting skaters without a partner, allowing them to test their chemistry in Brest, her hometown. Earlier in his career, he also skated with Stefania Berton and Paola Amati. His main inspirations are Britain’s Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean—“the couple who revolutionised ice dance”—alongside admiration for Russians Oksana Grishuk and Evgeny Platov.

On the ice he loves telling beautiful, emotional and sometimes heartbreaking stories, such as Schindler’s List. A three-time consecutive European champion, his palmarès also includes two continental bronzes, two world podiums and the historic third place at the 2025 World Team Trophy. A basketball fan raised on the work ethic and personality of Kobe Bryant, he is heading into his fourth Olympic Games convinced he has the right mindset to truly fight for a medal.
