Biography

Born in Trento, she took up figure skating at the age of three, having fallen in love with the sport while admiring the pirouettes of Carolina Kostner at the Turin 2006 Olympic Games. A three-time consecutive Italian champion (from 2021 to 2023), in November 2024 she finished third at the Finlandia Trophy, securing her first career podium on the ISU Grand Prix circuit. A few months later, she was selected for the World Team Trophy in Tokyo, where she emerged as one of the brightest notes of the Italian team that claimed a historic bronze medal. Also shaped by the myth of South Korean legend Yuna Kim, in her free time she relaxes by reading or spending time on Lake Garda to clear her mind and recharge. She is called “Naki” after a Ghanaian friend of her parents—who passed away before her birth—whose name was suggested as a lucky charm meaning “the firstborn”. Four years ago she competed only in the team event; at the Milano Cortina Games she wants to “fly on the ice” in the individual competition as well.
