Born in 2000 in Valtellina, he practised many different sports as a child—from swimming to football, volleyball, cycling and running. Ultimately, around the age of 10, his definitive choice fell on short track, a sport already pursued by his sister Anna, in a passion that quickly became contagious. Developed at Bormio Ghiaccio, he achieved his first important results at youth level and soon stepped onto the stage that matters.
He can already boast two individual bronze medals: one at world level (Rotterdam 2024) and one at European level (Dresden 2025). Before every race he always listens to rock music, and his sporting idol is Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. Determined and rational, he analyses his setbacks with clarity, turning them into future mistakes not to repeat. Now he wants to keep surprising, staying true to his creed of conviction, courage and humility—always in the name of that dream called the Olympic Games.
