He began by playing ice hockey together with his brother. When his brother switched to short track, he decided to give it a try too. In the winter of 2020, he was part of the Italian team that travelled to the Lausanne Youth Olympic Games, where he won bronze in the mixed team event. In the same year, confirming the versatility that distinguishes him, he represented Italy at the Junior World Championships in speed skating in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Poland. In his trophy cabinet, across world and continental competitions, shine five relay medals, including the gold won over 5,000 m at the 2025 European Championships in Dresden. His pre-race ritual is always to put on the right skate before the left, and his hobbies are those of any normal young man—from video games to music, films and TV series. His gaze is already fixed on Milano Cortina, where he is ready to fight his way into the world’s very best.
