Her journey began at the age of five in Pergine Valsugana, in the province of Trento. Unlike her brother Francesco, who is part of Italy’s speed skating team, she turned to short track—and the choice proved fruitful. After the Beijing 2022 Games, she quickly established herself as one of the new faces of the national team, earning three World Championship podiums and three European Championship podiums.
Her only individual medal so far came at continental level at Dresden 2025, where she won bronze in the 500 m. Also in Germany, she shone as part of the relay quartet that won gold. Before a race she always puts on the left skate before the right, and in her life there is room for hiking, cooking (especially desserts) and cycling, the sport of one of her idols: Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel. Born in 2002, she arrives in Milano Cortina aiming for definitive confirmation among the elite.
