Born among the mountains of the Aosta Valley, she is the niece of Pieralberto Carrara—three-time world champion in the relay and silver medallist in the individual event at Nagano 1998—and of Valter Jordaney, a former Italian athlete in cross-country skiing and biathlon. She began her sporting journey in Nordic skiing.
At the age of 11, she was offered by her club the chance to combine it with the rifle, and from that moment she never stopped. In 2017 she starred at the Junior World Championships in Slovakia, winning gold in the sprint and silver in the pursuit.
After a transitional season in the IBU Cup, in the 2024/2025 winter she returned as a permanent member of the World Cup squad. She repaid the trust of the coaches above all at the World Championships in Lenzerheide, where she finished just outside the podium both in the pursuit (eighth) and especially in the opening sprint (fifth).
At the home Games, she is determined to give everything in order to expand the family trophy cabinet with more Olympic medals.
