Biography

As a child, accompanied by her father Armin Auchentaller—at the time one of the coaches of the Italian national biathlon team—she began with cross-country skiing. Inspired by the athletes from her ski club, however, she asked to try combining it with the rifle, and from that moment the spark was ignited.

She boasts one junior world gold and two silvers, but her most significant result came at Oberhof 2023 when, at her first appearance at the senior World Championships, she triumphed in the women’s 4x6 km relay alongside Dorothea Wierer, Lisa Vittozzi and Samuela Comola.

When she is not immersed in the pressure of competition, she enjoys mountain biking, mountain running and trekking, taking in the natural beauty of her valleys. Nothing motivates her more than the image of the five Olympic rings at Anterselva, a thought firmly fixed in her mind that drives her to bring an ever-improving version of herself to the races.
