Olympic Club Athlete
He is the backbone of Italy’s men’s curling. He discovered the sport in Cembra, Trentino—where he moved at the age of four—and began playing in middle school after first trying football. His other passion is horse riding which, after two appearances at the Youth Western Riding World Championships and several international reining events, became his work (his family also ran a pub and a riding centre in Cembra for a long time).
He entered the national team set-up very young, and in recent years has helped lead Italy to two world bronzes (including the historic one in Las Vegas in 2022) and three continental bronzes. A symbolic player and veteran at the service of his teammates, he is determined to celebrate his fourth Olympic appearance with a medal around his neck.
