Biography

She played basketball like her mother (a former player), also trying fencing, volleyball and football, before turning to athletics. She started in the high jump but, as a youth athlete, switched to discus throwing.

In 2018 she won her first Italian senior indoor title, repeating the feat the following season. In the autumn of that same year, seeking new motivation, she followed the passion of her partner Mattia Variola and joined the national bobsleigh team (monobob and two-woman).

A classical studies graduate, she later earned a master’s degree in Sport Sciences at the University of Udine. In her free time she is an avid reader across all genres and enjoys practising various sports, including target shooting. After finishing inside the top 15 in monobob at Beijing 2022, she is ready to race on home ice in search of new, unforgettable Olympic emotions.
