Biography

Born in Thun, in the Canton of Bern, she first attempted skiing before, at around nine years of age, beginning her competitive career in karting. She subsequently progressed through the ranks to reach IndyCar and Formula E.

Her motorsport career includes participation in six editions of the Indianapolis 500 and a test at Ferrari’s Fiorano circuit with Sauber in 2014, when the opportunity—ultimately unrealised—to compete in the 2014/2015 Formula 1 World Championship arose.

In recent years, she set aside engines and tyres to embark on a bobsleigh career wearing Italian colours. Her father’s family originates from the Italian mountains, and one of her ancestors was the first to climb Monte Civetta in 1855.

Her results have been encouraging in both two-woman bobsleigh and, above all, monobob, where towards the end of 2025 she recorded two second-place finishes between Lillehammer and Winterberg. After a lifetime spent racing, the paradigm has not changed: she wants to push beyond limits at the Milano Cortina Games as well.
