Born in Bressanone and raised in Sciaves, he first tried snowboarding at the age of nine, investing energy and passion from the very beginning. In the 2016/2017 season, he won the Parallel Slalom World Cup, repeating the feat in 2020/2021, a winter in which he also captured the overall Crystal Globe.
His medal collection includes two world championship medals: gold in the mixed team event at Bakuriani 2023 alongside Nadya Ochner, and bronze in the Parallel Slalom (PSL) at Engadin 2025. A graduate of the Sports High School in Vipiteno, he also competed in two Winter Universiades while studying Business Economics, winning silver in the PGS in Trentino in 2013. His favourite hobbies include bike trial and tennis, but he also enjoys poker, hiking and watching television. With the Olympic rings, the match is still wide open: at Milano Cortina, he will have another chance to claim the only medal missing from his collection – an Olympic one.
