Until a few years ago, she was a promising alpine skier, part of the FISI Futur national group. Then destiny intervened: a serious cruciate ligament injury to both knees turned her plans upside down. Supported by her parents, Elena and Pietro, she returned to the slopes, but without the sensations she once had.
That led her to experiment with snowboarding – and it was love at first ride. From those ashes, a new career was born. In January 2023, she claimed her first World Cup podium, finishing second in the North American PGS at Blue Mountain, and one year later she celebrated her first World Cup victory in Scuol. Still in 2023, she narrowly missed the podium at the Bakuriani World Championships, finishing fourth. She relaxes by reading and drawing the destinations of her next travels. She does not want to stop at the peak: at Milano Cortina, she will fulfil her Olympic dream for the second time in her career.
