Biography

His introduction to snowboarding was random. One day his sister was given a board as a gift. After a few days, however, she decided not to use it anymore out of fear, and he inherited it—never putting it aside again. Raised on the example of fellow Italian Omar Visintin, he chose snowboard cross because he cannot live without the adrenaline it gives him. Tenacity is his greatest quality, he loves “Made in Italy”, and in the kitchen he chooses a prawn cocktail to recharge after a day of training. He can boast four Europa Cup victories, the second-tier circuit in which he topped the overall standings in the 2024/2025 season. In the World Cup, his most important career result came in January 2026, when he finished sixth in the second race held in Dongbeiya, China.

At Milano Cortina he fulfils his lifelong dream: competing at a home Olympic Games. For someone like him, who does not particularly like heat and lives in total symbiosis with snow and cold, it can represent the sublimation of his deepest wishes.
