Biography

She began cross-country skiing at the age of five thanks to her mother Silvia, a former athlete who introduced her to the environment and passed on the passion. Born in Pieve di Cadore, she grew up within Cortina d’Ampezzo’s ski club, favouring classic technique and courses with demanding climbs. She has been part of the national teams since 2013 and in February 2017 she won junior World silver at Soldier Hollow with Italy’s 4x3.3 km relay team.

She shows tenacity and determination away from the tracks as well. Indeed, she represents one of the most virtuous examples of how a sportswoman can leave her mark in academia too, thanks to the degree she earned in 2021 in International Trade at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Since 2023 she has also been enrolled in Law at the University of Bologna. Already an Olympian at PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022, she cannot wait to enjoy one last “dance” at the Milano Cortina Olympic Games—the best place to receive the right tribute for a career lived under the five rings.
