Biography

He has always had a strong passion for sport and, from an early age, practised alpine skiing, athletics and road cycling. Over time, he developed a love for cross-country skiing, a discipline in which he achieved his first significant results at the Italian Youth Championships in Alfedena in 2018. Third in the mixed Nordic relay at the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games, his medal collection also includes two junior world championship medals: bronze in the 4x5 km relay at Vuokatti 2021 and silver in the freestyle sprint at Lygna 2022.

In the World Cup, he was part of the Italian quartet that finished second behind Norway at the Oberhof round in January 2024. In December 2025, he again secured second place in the team sprint in Davos, partnering Federico Pellegrino. His best individual result came in February 2024 in Canmore, where he finished fifth in the freestyle sprint. A graduate of the Scientific Sports High School in Agordo, his favourite dish is lasagne and he enjoys listening to Italian and American rap. Through dedication and training, he has reached his goal: flying the Italian flag high on home Olympic snow.
