In her family, sport is a way of life. She grew up in Sarre, in the valley, but the mountains are her natural environment, shared from childhood with her parents, Fiorenzo and Cristiana, and her older sister Martina. She began at the Sci Club Sarre at around six years of age, initially practising alpine skiing. She later tried biathlon, but ultimately chose cross-country skiing to focus purely on speed, without the distractions of the shooting range.
She favours the freestyle technique and shorter distances, where she can unleash all her power. In the winter of 2025, she became a permanent member of the national team and quickly delivered notable results: fifth in the classical team sprint at the World Championships in Norway alongside Caterina Ganz, and ninth in the freestyle sprint in Lahti – her first individual top-10 finish in a World Cup race. Federico Pellegrino has always been her role model, and now she cannot wait to follow in his footsteps on the Olympic stage.
