Biography

A South Tyrolean from Latzfons, speed runs in his veins and he has grown rapidly thanks to the guidance of more experienced teammates. He took up luge inspired by the exploits of Olympic champion Armin Zoeggeler, who is now also his technical director with the Italian team. Tireless in his sacrifices, he works constantly to refine his technique and become ever faster down the icy track in pursuit of new goals.

European Under 23 champion in Switzerland in 2022, the same year he competed at the Beijing Olympic Games, where he narrowly missed the top ten in singles and finished just off the podium in the mixed team relay. A passionate hiker, he recharges his batteries with long walks immersed in nature, enjoys seaside holidays and loves travelling to discover breathtaking landscapes. After passing many exams with flying colours, he now faces the ultimate one: the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
