She took up luge at the age of 11 on natural tracks before being captivated by artificial tracks, which soon became her main reference point. Inspired by her lifelong idol Armin Zoeggeler – her teammate at Sochi 2014 and now technical director – she has always placed great emphasis on technical refinement.
After a solid career as a singles racer, she built new confidence in doubles during the last Olympic cycle alongside Marion Oberhofer. Together, they achieved two consecutive World Cup overall titles (2022/2023 and 2023/2024), a European title and a world bronze medal (both in 2023). Junior world champion in Innsbruck in 2014, her motto is “never give up”. She loves speed, precision and the unique sensation of racing down the track. She finds relaxation through volleyball, cooking and shopping, and is deeply attached to her family and her roots, to whom she hopes to dedicate a historic result at the Milano Cortina Games.
