His luge journey began at the age of seven on natural tracks. Around 14, he learned the secrets of artificial tracks and never looked back. Selected for the Italian team at the Lillehammer 2016 Youth Olympic Games, he finished seventh in the singles event. From that point on, his partnership with Fabian Malleier was born and he made the switch to doubles.
Gold medallist at both the 2018 Junior World Championships and the 2021 Under 23 World Championships, his medal cabinet also features three European medals in the mixed team relay: gold in Oberhof 2019, silver in Lillehammer 2020 and bronze in Winterberg 2025. When not racing, he enjoys mountain biking, trekking and excursions among the stunning scenery of the Dolomites. Already an Olympian at Pyeongchang 2018, he now heads to Milano Cortina aiming for even greater heights.
