Over time, his competitive focus shifted from singles to doubles, without ever losing sight of the passion that runs through his entire life. Runner-up in the overall Junior World Cup standings in 2011/2012 and junior world silver medallist in Park City in 2013, he switched to doubles in 2018, shortly after his second Olympic experience, teaming up with Simon Kainzwaldner.
In 2020, they claimed world silver in the sprint event in Sochi, followed by two European bronzes in the team event at Sigulda 2023 and Innsbruck 2024. A sports enthusiast in every sense, he enjoys volleyball, football, tennis and alpine skiing, and loves travelling, relaxing by the sea and swimming with his children. On the Milano Cortina track, he will give everything to deliver them a gift that lasts a lifetime.
