He discovered the world of skating at the age of five thanks to his father. What was meant (at least at the beginning) to be a simple try-out turned into a true life choice, always supported with great pride by his whole family. He is one of the finest exponents of the team pursuit. Alongside fellow Italians Davide Ghiotto and Andrea Giovannini, he won world championship gold and silver at Calgary 2024 and Hamar 2025 respectively, and reached the podium twice at the European Championships as well. In December 2023, he also finished third in the 10,000 m in Stavanger, earning the first individual top-three of his career in a World Cup race. He likes spending his free time out in nature—mountain biking, climbing, trekking and skiing—to relax ahead of the next competitive challenges waiting for him. At Milano Cortina, the hunger for victories is still strong.
