Biography

A 1998-born skater from Trentino, in 2016 he experienced the Olympic atmosphere at the Lillehammer Youth Olympic Games, finishing seventh in the mixed team sprint and ending inside the top 15 in both the 500 metres and the 1,500 metres. Over the shorter distances he is able to produce his best, and in 2022 he finished ninth over 500 metres at the European Championships in Heerenveen, as well as placing 15th at the Sprint World Championships in Hamar. The 500 metres was also his event at the Beijing 2022 Olympics, where he marked his five-ring debut inside the top 20 (19th).

In his free time he loves long bike rides and walks along the trails in his area, perhaps searching for mushrooms—a passion he shares with the rest of his family. But he, originally from Tenna, also loves spending his days away from competition by one of the many lakes in “his” Trentino, where he recharges ahead of new competitive challenges. Milano Cortina 2026 will certainly be among the most demanding.
