Biography

A pure talent from Val Gardena, he was already on skis at the age of four, while also practising other sports. Until the middle of high school, he played football and, at the same time, tennis and ice hockey. On snow, he exploded in 2017, winning two gold medals at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Erzurum (slalom and giant slalom), finishing fourth at the Junior World Championships and earning selection for the senior World Cup.

At the 2023 World Championships in France, he won individual bronze in slalom; two years later in Saalbach, he was one of the key factors in Italy’s victory in the mixed team parallel event. On the World Cup circuit—where he has four podiums—his most prestigious results came in January and December 2025, when he posted the second-fastest time in slalom in Kitzbühel and in giant slalom in Beaver Creek respectively. A table-tennis enthusiast who enjoys going out with friends, he speaks five languages and graduated from the sports high school in Stams near Innsbruck. Now his sights are set on a “degree” on the Olympic slopes of Milano Cortina.
