Originally from Lesignano de’ Bagni, he took his first steps in skiing at the age of just two on the slopes of the Parma Apennines. He was practically born on snow as the son of two instructors at Schia Monte Caio, the ski club where he grew up and raced for the first time. Developed within the Tuscan-Emilian committee, he imposed himself with steady progression on the FIS circuit and with strong results in the Europa Cup, where he can boast three top-three finishes, highlighted by the victory achieved in November 2024 in the Levi slalom. He made his World Cup debut at the end of December 2021 on an iconic stage such as Madonna di Campiglio’s 3Tre, where he was unable to complete the first run. A specialist between the short poles, his clean, reactive and highly precise skiing makes him an athlete with good room for improvement also in giant slalom, a discipline in which in March 2022 he came close to the top 40 at the Junior World Championships in Panorama.
A science high school graduate, he is enrolled in Biomechanical Engineering, and in summer he likes to recharge at the seaside between surfing and wakeboarding. Dreaming of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics has worked: now he simply has to open his eyes wide and enjoy it to the fullest.
