Originally from San Sebastiano al Vesuvio, at 16 she is the youngest member of the Italian delegation in Milano Cortina. The first Neapolitan ever to compete at a Winter Olympic Games, she first put on skis as a child on the snow of Roccaraso, in the province of L’Aquila, wearing the suit of Sci Club Vesuvio—the club she still races for, and whose president is her uncle Stefano Romano. Her father Fabio is a dentist, and she also has Colombian roots through her mother Sandra, with whom she moved to Predazzo to optimise her sporting preparation. After winning everything at youth level both nationally and internationally, in November 2025 she stepped into the spotlight in Switzerland at Schilthorn, where she won two FIS slaloms. In the same category she also owns a third place, achieved in January 2026 in Pozza di Fassa. At the end of December 2025 she received her first World Cup call-up but, between the tight gates of Semmering, she was unable to complete the opening run.
Nicknamed “The Black Panther”, she grew up idolising Alberto Tomba and Americans Lindsey Vonn and Mikaela Shiffrin, loves dancing salsa and, before every race, fires herself up with American rap. On the slopes she is the “smallest”, but she is already dreaming big.
