Biography

She started playing ice hockey at the age of three, following in the footsteps of her two older brothers. In 2023 she moved to Italy, first joining the Eagles Bolzano in South Tyrol, then Neumarkt-Egna and finally Real Torino, her current club. In previous years she made history in the colours of Canada, winning gold at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games and silver at Pyeongchang 2018. Her trophy cabinet also includes six world championship podiums, including the title won in Burlington in 2012. The following year she graduated in Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University, and in 2022 she began training to become a dental hygienist. Away from matches she enjoys relaxing with a film, reading a book or playing the piano and, when travelling, she always carries a small Bible with her because of her strong faith. With a dual passport, she is ready to contest the third Olympics of her career in Milano Cortina—her first wearing the Italy shirt.
