Born in 1994 and a left shot, he is a solid defenceman, useful in all phases of the game and with plenty of room still to grow. He spent most of his career with HC Val Pusteria, from youth levels to the first team. Between 2016 and 2020 he wore the HC Bolzano jersey, before returning to the “Wolves” family where, with more than 500 appearances now registered, in 2025/2026 he stands as the longest-serving player in the squad alongside Raphael Andergassen.
For many years the “pure-blood Pusterese”, after his experiences with Italy’s junior teams, has been one of the pillars of the national team’s defensive unit, earning call-ups for six World Championship editions. His honours also include two bronze medals and one silver at World Championships, all three won in Division I (Group A). Humble and tenacious, in moments of need he is always able to place his best qualities at the service of his teammates. With these ingredients, he can aim high at Milano Cortina too.
