He comes from Sweden. A left-shot forward standing 1.89m and powerfully built (92 kg), he has over 30 years of experience in ice hockey. He played nine full seasons in the Allsvenskan, mainly with VIK Västerås HC, his boyhood club, where he also served as vice-captain for three years. In 2023/2024 he made the big step, joining HC Pustertal for his first experience abroad. In the meantime, he applied for and obtained Italian citizenship, a milestone that underlines his personal bond with the country through his mother’s Bergamo roots.
In April 2025 he was called up to the Blue Team for the Division I (Group A) World Championships in Romania, but his tournament ended early due to a fracture of the right ankle malleolus suffered in overtime against Ukraine. He arrives at the Milano Cortina Games even hungrier.
