Biography

An Italian-Canadian defenceman, he was born in Mississauga, Ontario, near Toronto. His roots come both from his father’s side—originally from Gaeta—and his mother’s family, who are from Calabria. He started playing hockey as a child and never left it behind. His competitive pathway began in North American junior leagues. In 2017 he moved into the USports championship and over three seasons with Saint Mary’s University recorded 55 points in 109 games. Scouts from Bolzano took notice, and after completing his studies he signed for the club from the 2020/2021 season onwards.

Over the years he has become one of the leaders in the dressing room, earning particular appreciation from fans for his grit and hard play along the boards. With the national team, he competed in the 2022 Top Division World Championships and in 2025 was selected for the Division I (Group A) Worlds, where Italy won silver and secured promotion back to the top tier. At the Milano Cortina Games he wants to prove to everyone that he can withstand the impact against the best in the world.
