He started at the age of four, when he accompanied a nursery-school friend to the rink in Varese. Above all he loved skating and, after two years with children from his city, he moved to Chiasso, which at the time collaborated with Ambrì-Piotta. In Leventina he played for one year and then, for reasons of practicality and distance from home, he arrived at Lugano and never moved again.
A fast, skilful and brave forward, he has helped improve the Swiss club’s offensive line and, over the years, his performances have also attracted the attention of the senior national team staff, leading to his selection for the Division I (Group A) World Championships in both 2023 and 2025, which ended with bronze and silver medals respectively. He also gladly follows football and his team of the heart is AC Milan. He has travelled many kilometres in life—through constant back-and-forth and car journeys—to reach these levels, not only on the ice. That drives him to work and improve relentlessly. At Milano Cortina he makes the dream come true of competing at the Olympic Games for the first time.
