Biography

In her final year of nursery school, teachers handed out leaflets for a beginners’ ice hockey course. The idea thrilled her immediately and, at the end of December 1999, she put on skates for the first time with HC Val Rendena. She later moved to South Tyrol with the Eagles Bolzano and accumulated extensive experience in the Italy shirt, missing out on three Olympic qualification attempts (Sochi 2014, Pyeongchang 2018 and Beijing 2022) while securing two world titles: the first in Asiago at the Division II (Group A) World Championships, the second at the Division I (Group B) Worlds in Dumfries. Her academic path is equally notable, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Law and a Master’s in Corporate Economics and Business Legislation, both earned at the University of Trento. She enjoys relaxing by the sea, but her true love is the mountains, where she practises winter sports and goes on high-altitude trips with her loved ones. To crown such a career, only one thing is missing: her Olympic debut at Milano Cortina.
