He is one of the most promising young players in Italian ice hockey. Born in 2004, he was born and raised in Asiago, beginning his career within the club of his hometown. He comes from a family that lives and breathes this sport: his father Stefano is a former player for both the “Stellati” and the Blue Team. His older cousin Filippo Rigoni also plays for the Altopiano club.
In 2016 he moved to Switzerland, first to Ambrì-Piotta and then to the ZSC Lions, initially in the youth ranks and later with the GCK Lions first team, after a move across the Atlantic. In the summer of 2021 he was selected by the Seattle Thunderbirds in the WHL in Canada, before moving to the Winnipeg Ice, also in the WHL. In 2023 he returned to Switzerland and 2024/2025 became his magical year with the ZSC Lions, with whom he won the Champions League (the first Italian ever) and the national title. He has talent in abundance and now the objective is to make his mark in Italian colours at the event that matters most: the five-ring tournament.
