After posting excellent numbers in North American junior leagues—numbers that earned him selection in the 2015 NHL Draft by the Montréal Canadiens—he made his professional debut in 2018. In his first ECHL season, he won the championship with the Newfoundland Growlers. He spent the next three seasons in the East Coast League as well, also making his debut in the AHL. In December 2021 he moved overseas, first signing for the Vienna Capitals in Austria and then the Straubing Tigers in Germany, before relocating to South Tyrol in 2024/2025 to join HC Bolzano.
A centre with a strong goalscoring instinct, his style of play and physicality allow him to attack the net effectively, making him a constant threat to opposing defences. He holds dual citizenship thanks to his grandparents (originally from Udine) and is very active not only on the ice but also in charitable work. A lover of surfing and exotic travel destinations, he heads to the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games to keep riding the wave of his success.
