Born in Novi, a town near Detroit, he began his junior career with Compuware Hockey and the Sioux City Musketeers. He spent four years (2007 to 2011) at Michigan State University, where he played NCAA hockey and studied for a degree in Economics and Business Administration. After a long period between the AHL and ECHL, in 2018/2019 he was signed by the Salzburg Red Bulls in Austria, before moving to Sweden with Mora IK. Since 2020/2021 he has been one of the key pieces at HC Bolzano—the true brain of the South Tyrolean attack. Wearing the national team jersey, he has competed in the last two Division I (Group B) World Championships, with the Blue Team winning bronze and silver respectively.
He obtained dual citizenship already in the early 2000s thanks to his mother’s Sicilian roots. In his free time he enjoys water sports, as well as golf and snowboarding. At 37, he reaches the most important objective of his career: being selected for the Milano Cortina Games.
