Biography

Born in Englewood, New Jersey, she played four years for Brown University before spending five seasons with the Calgary Inferno in the now-defunct Canadian professional league (CWHL). After a year away in Barcelona devoted to her studies, she was signed for 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 by Stockholm’s SDE HK, helping the club reach the play-offs for the first time in its history. A graduate in Environmental Engineering and specialised in Sustainable Energy Systems at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, she is also a climate activist through Ecoathletes and Extinction Rebellion. She moved to Italy—the homeland of her father Al’s relatives (Al passed away from a heart attack while playing hockey)—and from 2021 signed with the Eagles Bolzano, where she showcased all the valuable qualities of a right-shot, stay-at-home defenceman. Passionate about health, yoga and plant-based nutrition, at Milano Cortina she fulfils the dream of seeing her surname on the Italy shirt.
